Renaissance Granddad creates an Exercise Schedule – Will it Work??

 

Over the last six months I have discovered that having a projected list of books that I plan to read each month has kept my reading more focused. And while I have changed some of the books during the month,alternating them as new books become available from the library etc, overall I have read more and even finished the majority of what I planned on reading!

SO!  I thought maybe an exercise schedule would be a good thing for a person, who just may suffer from ADD! With that in mind I sat down this morning and made an exercise schedule!

Over the last several weeks I have been focusing on expanding my yoga practice and have added afternoon and evening yoga practice times. But now I want to re-add my light weight and Kundalini workout back into the mix. I also want to start running again!! I made up the following potential schedule based on next week’s Target and babysitting schedule. I will be working next week at Target on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday (7 am -12 pm) and babysitting Oliver on Wednesday (8-5:30) The schedule will change the following week, because I will be working at Target on Thursday morning and Friday night (5:30-11:00) and I don’t know what day for Oliver. The change in my Target schedule will mostly affect the times I exercise in the morning!

Here’s the proposed schedule – what I plan on doing is printing out the schedule and hanging it on the door for the room that I use to exercise! Hey, maybe I will add an extra column to check off whether I did the exercise or not!!

I’m sure that this schedule will be amended several times as things pop up, but hopefully it is something that can be used to help keep me on track, because I know I need it!!
